Student Government Advisors:
Student Government at B.M.C. Durfee High School is a student-led organization dedicated to representing students' creative ideas and building a strong, connected school community. We serve as the bridge between students' desires and making them come true through learning the social responsibilities of leaders. Our team plans and runs many of the traditions that make Durfee special, including Seniors Helping Freshmen, Welcome Back Bash, and Senior Sunrise. We’re also behind some of the most anticipated moments of the year, like Pep Rallies, Powderpuff, and prom. Through leadership, service, and school spirit, Student Government works to make every Durfee student’s experience meaningful and memorable.

During the school year, our Freshmen are involved in our Seniors Helping Freshmen event, along with the Pep Rally, Welcome Back Bash, and the Freshman Elections for Student Government!
Our Sophomores also take part in our Welcome Back Bash and Pep Rally!
Our Juniors take part in the Welcome Back Bash and Pep Rally, along with their Junior Prom and the Powderpuff Game!
Finally, Our Seniors participate in Seniors Helping Freshmen, the Welcome Back Bash, the Powderpuff Game, the Pep Rally, and, exclusively to Seniors, Senior Sunrise, Senior Sunset, Senior Sendoff, and the Senior Prom.
